Skipper - Scott Lloyd-Jones

I grew up in Porthleven, a remote fishing village in the southwest of England and was immersed in everything

to do with the ocean.  My father was a commercial fisherman and diver so I guess the apple didn't fall far from

the tree.  I emigrated to NZ having travelled through the Pacific Islands and Australia over 20 years ago.

NZ became my choice of country due to the exceptional quality of the fishing and of course the culture that's

all about the great outdoors.  I have been fortunate enough to have fished alongside some of the top guides

and skippers of NZ.  These people have helped turn my passion into my occupation.  My goal in life is to share

fantastic fishing experiences with likeminded people who respect our incredible fishery.

See you out there!

Skipper - Rick Pollock

Rick Pollock has been on the New Zealand Sportfishing scene for over four decades now. Moving here from

his native Southern California he brought the concept of live bait fishing with him which has been used

extensively in this country ever since. Having pioneered sportfishing at White Island, Ranfurly Bank and one

of the first skippers to regularly fish the Three Kings Islands he’s a true veteran of our sport. We at Nautilus

Charters are pleased to announce his involvement for this current season and beyond. He’ll be running our

second boat, the 28‘ Black Jack, for daytrips with yellowtail kingfish remaining his specialty as it has been

throughout his career. Indeed some of Rick’s former passengers hold a number of World Record claims

including the All Tackle mark of 52 kilos. Come join Rick for a fun and hopefully productive day on the water.
